The CNHFA's Infant Formula Food Sub-Committee helds the Seminar on Recommendations on Labelling of Products with 2'-Fucosyllactose and Lacto-N-Neotetraose

On January 22nd, the CNHFA hosted an expert seminar on Recommendations for Labelling Products with 2'-fucosyllactose and lacto-N-neotetraose. Attendees included Ren Faizheng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Li Ning, Director of the National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA); Wu Yongning, CFSA’s Technical Chief; Zhang Jianbo, CFSA’s Researcher; Ding Gangqiang, Director of the Institute for Nutrition and Health at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); Yang Xiaoguang, CDC’s Researcher; Yin Shian, CDC’s Researcher, and members of the sub-committee. Yin Shian, also the Chairman of the CNHFA’s Infant Formula Food Sub-Committee, chaired the meeting.


Dr. Liu Biao, Vice Chairman, and Secretary General of the Sub-committee, provided insights into the international labelling practices for products containing 2'-fucosyllactose and lacto-N-neotetraose. Participating experts discussed the significance of these products and their consumption trends in the global market.
