From April 4th to April 5th, the Feeding the Future Conference 2019 hosted by the Australian Infant Nutrition Committee (INC) was held in Melbourne, Australia. Experts and leaders from government, universities, and industry organizations exchanged their opinions on the following six sessions: a big picture view, infant nutrition-the first 1000 days, infant nutrition spotlight on nutrients, global risk assessment, challenges in infant formula composition and marketing-getting the facts in an emotional environment, and trading with China. A total of 200 industry and business representatives from all over the world attended the conference. Liu Xuecong, secretary-general of the China Nutrition and Health Food Association, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a speech on the “New Reality, New Challenges, and New Opportunities” of China's Nutrition and Health Food.
