2.General Office of the State Administration for Market Regulation’s Notice on the Issuance of Safety Compliance Guidelines on Selling Special Food Online
On October 17th, the State Administration of Market Regulation issued the Safety Compliance Guidelines on Selling Special Food Online, covering general requirements (including qualifications, process management, advertising, publicity, and labeling)
for traditional sales and special requirements (for online trading operators, online food trading third-party platform providers, online food production operators, and online special food production operators) for online sales.
3.The Center for Food evaluation of the State Administration for Market Regulation issued Answer for Common Questions on Health Food.
On November 9th, the Food Review Centre of the State Administration for Market Regulation answered common questions about health food.

5.Administrative Measurement for Food Safety Standards (the National Health Commission Decree No. 10)
On November 29th, the National Health Commission issued the Administrative Measures for Food Safety Standards, effective from December 1, 2023. The former version (Ministry of Health Decree No. 77) was repealed simultaneously.

8.The State Administration for Market Regulation Issued Administrative Measures for the Registration of Foods for Special Medical Purposes
On December 3rd, the State Administration for Market Regulation revised and issued the Administrative Measures for the of Registration of Foods for Special Medical Purposes, effective from January 1, 2024. The previous version (Decree No. 24), published
by the State Food and Drug Administration on March 7, 2016, is repealed at the same time.
9.Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Release of the Guidelines for the Standardised Labelling of Health Food Signs
On December 22nd, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMSAR) issued the Guidelines for Standardised Labelling of Health Food Signs.
10.Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Release of the Raw Materials Catalogue of Three Health Food (including Ginseng)
On December 31st, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued an announcement on the release of the catalogue of ginseng and three other health food raw materials, effective from May 1, 2024.
